Our Weddings venue here in Sussex has up to 5 weddings per year in the summer months at weekends only. These are marquee Wedding receptions on the lower lawn venue so the side of the marque can be left open to enjoy the views into the Ashdown Forest valley which is to the East so away from the prevailing Sussex wind.
You are free to chose all your suppliers such as marquee company and caterers, unlike many venues we do not insist on approved suppliers we simply ask for you to chose dependable professional organisations so the set up and take down goes as smoothly as possible.
Drinks at the Weddings venue are normally served on the terrace as guests arrive to then enjoy the reception on the lower lawn with the view of the Sussex countryside. Some people have chosen to hold a blessing on the upper lawn but we do not have a marriage licence.
For those interested in going into the country night we have a shut down time of Midnight.
